Lol! We only get somewhat fancy for dinner, otherwise it is whatever I can throw together. I would love if you would share this menu plan on my link-up. I like to show my readers how other people plan their meals in advance. Thank you for sharing! I think I'm going to go for my first "prenatal" visit tomorrow.

Goals... hmm. Good idea! I have my list of goals for this year, but I look at it every once in a while and think "wow, I've got a long way to go!" I am thinking that some weekly or monthly goals might be a good idea. I was thinking just today that maybe a big goal for next week will be to sort through and organize our 2 deep freezers. If I make it a goal, hopefully it will become more of a priority, and hopefully actually happen?!

I like what the others have said, too... making goals outside of the "normal".Miriamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03171889409871334109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-747990468719074509.post-22509483795526919052011-09-12T17:50:09.059-04:002011-09-12T17:50:09.059-04:00Seems do-able. And putting it out there on the blog makes you more accountable too. =p Have a great week!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-747990468719074509.post-30044658351143105842011-09-12T10:29:09.369-04:002011-09-12T10:29:09.369-04:00Cindy...I totally agree. That's kind of what's on my mind with setting weekly goals--getting my head above the simple tasks that must be done everyday and thinking about some more long term things that I want to be intentional about (like my relationship with my neighbor, husband, etc.). Also things that are easy to "leave out" if there isn't enough time, like reading and exercise. :)

Maybe after the baby is born, I'll just have one or two weekly goals, though! :DAliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09258122979960993351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-747990468719074509.post-28307616737573015062011-09-12T09:57:37.603-04:002011-09-12T09:57:37.603-04:00I've been trying to set goals, though some day...I've been trying to set goals, though some days my goal is to make it to bedtime with everyone fed and at least somewhat clothed. It was much easier while the 2nd child hadn't made her appearance yet, though not nearly as much fun. :)

Honestly, something that changed my homemaking life was in some mommy blog (I wish I could remember which one, so I could give credit), along the lines of, "Set daily goals other than the things that have to happen for the home to function (laundry, cleaning, etc.). If your goals are merely to maintain, you will never move beyond maintenance."

I have business goals to accomplish this week, and a deadline of Friday, so they MUST get done.CindyChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11465925613716349619noreply@blogger.com
