Awww....Squishy's helmet got a little lopsided! |
This is the 1st sort of exercise that I've done (besides leisurely walks) since the wee beginnings of my 1st trimester and my muscles felt it the next day!
Growing up, my parent's bikes each had a child's seat attached. When we were a small family of four we would all go bike riding together...sweet memories.
Have you ever ridden a tandem bike? What are your family's favorite outdoor activities to do in the evening?

Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Fun! We haven't gone for a family bike ride in a very long time since Mother's Day. Sad. :( We went a lot last spring/summer, but since it's usually still 100* when Jonathan gets home from work, it's not much fun for me to be outside. Couple that with a very growing belly and the fact that I have a road bike {which means I have to lean over} makes things a bit harder. BUT, I fully expect to be back to riding next spring/summer, with Julia on her own bike and Hannah and the baby in the carriers.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried that before. Looks like fun. We will have to do a rental when we go on a trip maybe. =)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute family! I have always thought tandem bikes were so romantic.
ReplyDeleteoh oh oh!!! That looks like so much fun! Everyone around here bikes and Josh and I have been searching for bikes for our family outings too. I'm totally inspired now!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun. I think I tried riding a tandem bike when I was around 12 years old, and it was a bit much when it came to coordination. :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys have so much fun!
Looks fun, but it always makes me feel uneasy when I see the little attachment in the back. The latest thing I've seen is the attachment on the front handlebars for the toddler. Still makes me nervous :) Glad your pregnancy is going good and you're feeling better these days!
ReplyDeleteConfused...4 wheels or 2 wheels?
ReplyDeleteOh this looks like such fun and you all seem to be having a great time!
ReplyDeleteOoooops, that should have been 4 pedals, not 4 wheels!!! :D
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!! So super cute!!!! I love, love, LOVE this!!!! I have never rode a tandem bike before...closest thing is our attached-toddler-pull-along-thingy. Last year I rode to school with my oldest once a week and pulled the other kiddos in the attached part. I must say, I made quite a few passerby's chuckle with the sidewalk timeouts I enforced. HA! Helmet tugging can escalate veeeeery quickly!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd one little tidbit from my nagging motherin' self (hee hee)...ADULT HELMETS!!!! ;)
xoxo!
Sounds lovely! I will echo MultitaskingMarissa and urge you to purchase helmets for yourselves, as well! Very important. Okay, off my soapbox now. :)
