Menu Plan Monday--May 3rd

This is officially my first week being a completely full-time SAHM! :) Yay!

My freezer cooking day is going to be on either Wednesday or Thursday, and in the meantime, the freezer is looking bare! Time to get creative in the kitchen...Here's an approximation of what our menu plan will look like this week.

Breakfasts: Smoothies, granola (did you see my grocery shopping trip last week?), toast with jam/honey
Lunches: sandwiches, leftovers, salad
Dinners:
Monday--Chicken and rice, broccoli
Tuesday--Beef and Lentil Stew, homemade bread or biscuits
Wednesday--Mom's night out!
Thursday--Freezer cooking day--something simple for dinner (probably homemade pizza).
Friday--Company for dinner--Chicken spaghetti, mixed veggies, salad, something scrumptious for dessert

  1. What do you do for Mom's Night Out? Do you have a playgroup that does them? The playgroup my daughter and I are a part of do them once a month! It's nice to get out, especially with other moms!

Oh, and YAY for becoming a FT SAHM! January was my first FULL YEAR of being a SAHM, I do the paperwork for our lawn business at home, but it's so nice to stay at home with the kids! :)

  2. How exciting that you're home full time! Being a full-time mother is my passion, and there is nothing I'd rather be doing. So undeniably worth it.

  3. @Today On: Mom's night out was basically me and a good friend going to a movie and dinner while our husband's kept the boys. It was so nice and relaxing. We saw "How to Train Your Dragon" (so cute!).
@Nony: Thank you! I am SO excited...every day I can stay home is a privilege!
