A Boy And His Papa {Try New Adventures Thursday!}

They've been pals ever since Peter was a tiny babe.

So what could be better than living for a month at Papa's house? Not much.

Yesterday they spent the whole morning together. Practicing how to use a hammer, driving in Papa's truck, pretending that a nut and a stick were a baseball and bat, using the shovel in the garden, watering the plants, dancing to the radio on the deck, singing songs...

They even played in the rain.

It's really sweet to watch my Dad being a grandfather. Anything done with Papa is an adventure!!

Speaking of adventures, we're home now and have a week to find a new place to live, to pack, and to move! Wish us success...:) I can't wait to show you our new place once we get settled in.

  6. I'm so excited for you as you look for a new place and I can't wait to see it--especially the dishwasher! Guess what? Looks like I will be living in a place without a dishwasher for the rest of the time we're here in Germany!
