Three Hour Cooking Day? Let's Try SIX...

Yeah, so I'm not very good at calculating how long things are going to take us in the kitchen, especially when you add in a baby, a visit from great grandmother, paying repair house repair bills (whaaa...? How did that get thrown in?), and lunch. My mom and I started cooking at 9:30 this morning, and we were totally done (kitchen clean) at 4pm. How does Crystal at Money Saving Mom cook 18 meals in 2 1/2 hours? I'm blown away by that.

However! Our day was a success, and we accomplished everything on our list. Even though it was just 4 recipes, it was a LOT of food. We did not have enough big bowls!

It was fun blogging from the kitchen...

How awesome that I was able to do this with my mom? She was great to cook with. :)

And now, it's bedtime! I'm a tired mama (with a much fuller freezer!).

  1. How exciting! I need to get my act together to do a freezer cooking session this week.
