Since I started blogging less than a year ago, I've won a set of Cutco knives, an apron, and a pair of crocs from Once a Month Mom, a cookbook from Moms In Need of Mercy, a book from The Prudent Patron, a $50 Visa gift card from Once a Month Mom, and my latest win (which came in the mail today!), these two boxes of organic baby food and a pair of nursing pads from Mama the Reader. How fun!
Some thoughts on blog giveaways:
1) Sometimes it's the small blogs that are best! Smaller blogs tend to have fewer entries on their giveaways, which means you have a higher chance of winning. Also, you know the blog author appreciates your entry!
2) I like to enter the giveaway in more than one way. Most giveaways have the option for an extra entry if you follow them on twitter or facebook...an easy extra entry if you already use these forms of social media.
3) My favorite type of blog giveaways are the ones that involve fun contests, such as the Van Camps Baked Bean Showdown recently hosted by @OnceaMonthMom and @AmysFinerThings.

I love winning giveaways, although in the past I haven't really won. You cant win if you don't enter, right?! :D
