Blogosphere Bits: Credit Cards, Spice Organization, and Taglines

This week I was excited to see my friend Audrey's guest post featured on Money Saving Mom! She wrote about Credit Cards: How They Can Hurt More Than Your Own Personal Finances. An interesting perspective (and there are over 100 comments with people's feedback...).

Now, I know you're biting at the bit to hear about the solution for my spice cabinet! I have tons of spices, and they are all squeezed into a narrow cabinet. It's very difficult to find which spices are where and they frequently fall out of the cabinet (invariably they fall into something I'm cooking). But now I'm going to try the Tangled Zen's idea of placing my spices in baskets and labeling the tops (HELLO). Check out how she makes it work! I'm excited to try this frugal way of organizing spices that does not require me to buy anything fancy.

Lastly, maybe you've noticed that Alicia's Homemaking does not currently have a tagline. I'm working on that. Yesterday, Amy tweeted a link to this article on taglines. If you need help with a tagline, they have some good articles listed for you here.

Have a fabulous weekend, everyone! As always, I'm linked up to Saturday Stumbles at ItsCome2This and Share Your Faves at It's A Blog Party.

  3. A great site to making your blog work for you is Problogger. http://www.problogger.net/ I would read from this page (link below) from the bottom up from older to newer entries on 31 Days to Building a Better Blog...he had another one a few months ago, but I think those posts might have been taken down because he made it into an ebook. http://www.problogger.net/archives/category/31-days-to-building-a-better-blog/page/13/
