Family Life {Try New Adventures Thursday!}

This past week, we've been having everyday sort of adventures. Nothing earth-shattering, just trying to take care of my boys, love those around us, and keep house. With my 2nd trimester good health, we've settled into a routine that works, and it's amazing how much simpler life has been. I'm enjoying it now...I know it will all change when the baby comes (I'm due in exactly 3 months!).

This week we..

Had old neighbors (that have just moved back) over for dinner and I made homemade baguettes. Super yummy! Other than adding way more flour (and some wheat flour), I followed the recipe exactly. We enjoyed our friends company and are happy they are just around the corner again. P.S. Yes, I did feed them more than just baguettes.

Hung out with a new neighbor who has a really interesting background--she's from Ethiopia but was raised in Israel. We're swapping recipes and stories, and our boys (only a week apart in age!) have been playing together. I'm really thankful that this neighbor just moved in our little village...she's a stay-at-home-mom, which is rare in our population of neighbors! I think we'll see a lot of each other.

Lastly, we spent time together as a family. Gosh, I love my boys. We had a riveting adventure this weekend when we went out for pizza as a family (Squishy thought he'd died and gone to heaven), followed by a trip to Target for closet organization items. You've got to live on the wild side every once in a while, ya'll.

I'm scheming up some crafty adventures in my head...mainly to do with pictures and memory keeping. I really want to do something cute with a lot of my Instagram photos, but I'm not sure what. Any ideas?

Ok--your turn! Share your adventures below by linking up your blog post about them, linking back to Alicia's Homemaking, and then visiting some of the other blogs that are linked up. :) If you're on twitter, follow the hashtag #TryNewAdventures today for fun tweets throughout the day.
