Become this!?
These have been the fastest 5 months of my life (with the most kisses EVER squeezed in). I wish I could bottle up this boy's sweetness.
At 5 months, Edmund....
-still has blue eyes (what, what!?! I thought we would have all brown-eyed children, but the recessive gene came through. Two of my sisters and my grandmother have blue eyes)
-rolls both ways
-sits like a champ in the Bumbo
-loves the walker! He mostly goes backwards, but is getting tall enough to go forwards a bit
-sleeping wise, he takes 3 naps during the day. He typically goes to bed at 9 pm, has a dreamfeed at 10 pm, eats again at 4:30-5 am, and then goes back to sleep until 8 am.
AND, as of yesterday, he's figured out his own version of mobile by scooting on his back around the house. I instagrammed the below shot of him yesterday....he started on that mat in the living room, and ended up in the dining room. With impressive speed!
Watch out mama!
Have your kids been up to any new adventures lately? When did they get mobile or start crawling?

Oh my gosh, that is so cute! He's just trying to keep up with big brother :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing! None of my kids were mobile so quickly. My oldest crawled at 7 months and walked at a year. But, my other two kids never crawled. The middle one walked at a year and the little one walked at 16 months.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest crawled at 7 months, and he also mastered the backwards scoot at around 5 months. My boys just like to be on the move, I guess. :) I wouldn't mind if they slowed down a bit. ;) hehe
DeleteHe is sooooo cute. I don't blame you with all the kisses. How can you not kiss that head. My youngest is almost 4 and we're going through all our baby lasts, after 10years and 4 kids, some days i'm glad for it to be ending and moving to the next stage, and other days, when I see cuteness like that i long for more!
ReplyDeleteTessa
Aw, I can understand that!!
DeleteYour baby pics are gorgeous! Were some of them professionally done?
ReplyDeleteWe used cloth briefly, for a summer. I think it might have helped speed up potty training in the months that followed. I'd like to try cloth again, but the laundry pile up says no, at least for now.
I guess I should have split my comments between this post and your previous one on diapering. Tired. =)
DeleteHaha, NO WORRIES! I totally understand!
DeleteOh, and I took all the pictures myself, except the 1st one, which my sister took. :)
DeleteAlicia, the pictures you took of little Edmund are so precious. I really enjoyed reading this recap of his development. You guys have such adorable babies. And you are such an inspiration to me as a Mom.
ReplyDeleteSuper duper cute!
