Bits from the Blogosphere Brain

I gave Squishy a bath in the sink this morning. This picture is totally unrelated to this post.

My husband told me once that he thought it would be really awesome to have a farm out in the country somewhere and raise our kids on it. My reaction? ...Um, not so much.

And then one day I was driving down the road towards our house, contemplating the price of organic eggs, and I thought, "Man, I want a chicken!"

My next thought: "Uh oh... it's starting! Soon I'll be barefoot and pregnant on a farm raising kids, chickens, and cows!"

Well, maybe, and maybe not. But in the meantime I'm living vicariously through The Thrifty Mama, who just built her own chicken tractor and bought her first chickens!

Next, a confession. I use sponges in my kitchen. Are you totally grossed out? Well, thankfully, iDreamofClean has some tips for killing the germs on your kitchen sponge!

Last but not least, Kristin from We are THAT Family talks about how she does Bulk Blogging. This is something I am working on doing this week! I am very proud of myself because I actually have *one* post for next week already written. Not much, but it's a start.

That's it from me for now. This is my first Saturday linking up at ItsCome2This for Saturday Stumbles. :)

P.S. Two more things. Feel free to enter my giveaway for the book "Frog and Toad Together" and I would LOVE it if you joined me Monday for the Bloggy Breakfast Bash link-up!
