Semester #2: Mission Accomplished

{Insert picture of Andrew and I in goofy 3-D glasses here}

Last night my hubby and I went out on a celebratory date because semester #2 of PA School is finished!! We watched The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 3-D, drank Starbucks, and had a fine time.

This morning feels like Saturday. We had a leisurely breakfast and are all still in our pajamas.

My husband doesn't have any schoolwork to do. Somebody pinch me!

Today we're hanging out as a family, brainstorming ideas for Christmas, and catching up on all the talking we've missed out on this semester.

I'll see you here tomorrow for Try New Adventures Thursday!

P.S. I did take a picture of us looking dorky with the 3-D glasses, but unfortunately cannot seem to retrieve it off of my phone!

  3. Congrats! My husband was in PA school in 2005 at the age of 35. The first year was horrible, but so much better after that!

    It was worth every penny (and student loan debt) that we spent. We were thousands of miles away from our family, but it was the best thing for our family of four.

    Continue to be supportive and understanding - I know it makes their lives so much easier!

    By the way, South Dakota has some of the lowest paying PA positions so I wouldn't recommend moving here :-)

  5. The breaks between semesters is the best part of being in school. :) I'm glad you're enjoying your time together.

  6. Ammie, yay for breaks! That's awesome. My hubby and I actually just talked about trying to stay in SOME semblance of a schedule while he is on break....we normally end up going to bed late and waking up late...bad prep for the next semester! But of course we take it easy on the first few days. :)

    Johnlyn, thanks for your encouragement! So glad to hear that it's been worth it for you guys.

    Karen, welcome! Nice to "meet" you.

    Starving Student Survivor...yes...one of my fav parts of student life. Definitely a perk.
