January Via Instagram

Remember how I attempted to do a 365 project last year?

Well, it royally flopped. I got so behind on picture editing last year (especially after I started shooting in RAW format), and I eventually gave up.

This year I'm trying a simpler route by doing the #photoaday challenge on Instagram. Fat Mum Slim has been creating a photo challenge each month with daily prompts, and I decided to get in on the fun.

The challenge is perfect for me because: 1) I don't have to spend a lot of time editing, 2) I can automatically send my pictures to Flickr via Instagram, and 3) there are others doing it along with me!

I did miss some days in January, primarily because my husband takes his iTouch to work and then I'm Instagram-less (tragic, I know). But here are some of the snippets of life I captured last month:

  2. This is a great idea, I just started with the February challenge. Does Flicker put the photos into collage format?

    1. No, Flickr just makes it easy for me to download the photos onto my computer.
I used Picasa to make the collages!

  8. Great idea! I love the idea of prompts for pictures because I often can't think of anything to take a picture of, especially because I don't have kids, and each workday is pretty much the same routine.
